Hey, ya'll! I'm Latresa. I was born and raised in the mountains of  Western North Carolina. I am a true southerner with a love for God, faith, family and country. I love my Appalachia Mountains, and I love to hear stories about the grit and grace it took my forefathers and foremothers (is that a word?) to carve out a living in the beautiful mountains I call home.

It is my passion to share these stories with my readers. I love to take a story that has been handed down for generations. I have been known to add a few fictional details to a story every once in a while, but I try to remain as true to the original story as possible.

I am obsessed with strong Appalachian women who have raised and nurtured families in one of the harshest environments in early America.
